The Faculty’s engagement with the LJMU
Teaching and Learning Strategy is informed by a set of principles
aligned around three interconnected themes. 1 Nurturing student learning 2 Supporting staff development 3 Sustaining a fertile environment We hope you feel welcome within our community and we engage in a
number of activities to foster its development. Helping
you to teach, assess and develop The LJMU Teaching
and Learning Academy should be an early port of call for assistance. They organise the annual LJMU Students at
the Heart conference and offer accredited development programmes. They can
provide help with learning technologies, including Canvas, the institutional
virtual learning environment (VLE). The Faculty LTAE webpages that host this
page also offer guidance, including learning
technologies specifically supported by the Faculty. The Faculty follows University LTA policies complemented by local
protocols. These processes align with our principles of engagement and
are approved by Faculty Management Team (FMT). |
