summary of two changes in our assessment procedures for 2016/17 and one
reminder. ·
Assessment Approval: Further to the Faculty Registrar’s email of 7/7/16, a
Faculty protocol for External Examiner approval
of assessments on all our taught modules has been
developed and it is stored here. There
will be four deadlines for submitting coursework and exams, summarised below
for 2016/17 and identified in orange within the key dates document attached. This document also includes other dates of
significance and a copy is stored on the LTA Website.

Assessment and Feedback: Our associated procedures are stored within the Faculty LTA
website here
and there has been one addition: Component marks on Blackboard Grade
Centre. In summary, all marks for coursework component items must be
entered into Blackboard Grade Centre in 2016/17 and made visible to students
after internal moderation and prior to the Board of Examiners (the new name
for Assessment Boards). Coursework marks will be
collected from Grade Centre by the School Offices. ·
Module guide template: A reminder that the Faculty has a standard template for the
Assessment section of module guides. This is unchanged from last year and is
