Estate Maintenance
A reminder that any issues you have, including classroom temperatures, can be raised through the maintenance helpdesk on x5533. The request will be formally logged and you will receive an email confirmation when the issue has been addressed.
Curriculum Enhancement Projects
The first deadline for funding proposals is 30th Sept. I will sign-off all Faculty applications so I would be grateful if they could be passed on to me by Mon 29th Sept at the latest. Please note that I am not available to review applications on Thu 25th or Fri 26th Sept.
Printers and scanning to your M Drive
As with the previous RICOH printers, some of the new Xerox printers are black and white only and will print out in monochrome even if you submit a colour job. Whether a printer is colour or B&W is not clear on the printer itself. A brief check suggests that those printers with a 4 digit model number beginning with a ‘5’ are B&W while those beginning with ‘7’ are colour.
