Our new Faculty scheme replaces ‘Talking about Teaching’. Both represent our commitment to the LJMU Peer Review process referenced within our TEF submission to the OfS. As part of Peer Observation and Reflection, academic staff will act as either a teaching observer or observee in each academic year.

Observation pairs have been circulated to School participants and the designated observer should take the lead in organising a suitable date/time for the observation. A pre-observation meeting is optional but pairs will meet for a post-observation discussion. The focus of this activity is formative observation and collegial practice exchange. As such, the only required reporting is an acknowledgment that the observation occurred, recorded here by 31 May 2024.

If the observation highlights permanent and fundamental issues with particular rooms (i.e. not transitory AV/IT issues), then please report to p.denton@ljmu.ac.uk for onward forwarding to the Learning Environment Panel.

AI Practice Exchange, hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology
